Update from the CEO
Hello all!
It has been about a month since the launch of ComputeHub 2.0 and everything has gone smoothly overall! We continue to work on bugs here and there as they come up as well as our technology roadmap, which is driven by your feedback. Some of our current roadmap items that we are working on include:
Multi-GPU passthrough per instance
Parent and child accounts for billing purposes—allowing you to create accounts and hand them out to others such as employees or students and have their used resources billed back to you
In addition, we have continued to rollout new help documentation and videos. The help documentation is hosted at https://docs.nwhtc.com/ with the intention of providing you clear step-by-step instructions on how to use the ComputeHub cloud computing platform. It will be continually updated and please let us know if there is anything specific you want us to add that we may be missing!
Help videos will be hosted on our YouTube page. The plan is to provide you video step-by-step instructions for our platform as well as general cloud computing tips and tricks. As videos take a little more work to make than written documentation, they will roll out a little more slowly. Similar to the written documentation, if you have any suggestions on future videos to make please reach out to us via email, contact page, or in the YouTube comments.
Our focus for the ComputeHub platform continues to be centered around providing a low-cost, easy to navigate cloud computing and IaaS platform. We want you to be able to spin up a virtual machine in a matter of seconds and only get charged for what resources are being used. We feel that other major cloud platforms are too complicated and shouldn’t require an expert on that platform to spin up an instance. This mindset is what drives us forward and will continue to be a focal point in our future design.
Thanks again for checking us out! If you are hesitant on trying out ComputeHub, know that we offer a free signup credit for all new users. This allows you to try out ComputeHub with no obligations. We don’t even ask for a credit card until the credit is used up. So if you are at all interested, give it a try—there’s nothing to lose !
